Commissioner at Large

Ward 1 Commissioner

Sandi Liles was first appointed in July of 2020 to serve on the City Commission. Sandi is a graduate of Woodward High School and has her Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Ward 2 Commissioner

John Brown was elected as ward 2 commissioner in May of 2016. John is a 1980 graduate of Woodward where he went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Medical Technology and Chemistry at Northwestern State University in Alva. John has been employed with the Woodward Hospital for nearly 30 years.

Ward 3 Commissioner

John Meinders was born and raised in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and is a 1985 graduate of Pauls Valley High School. John attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1989 with a degree in microbiology.

Ward 4 Commissioner

Tom Fisher has been the commissioner for Ward 4 since 2019. Fisher has worked as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy and is currently an Adjunct Instructor for Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
